Costs for 2024-2025

Music Centre Year  (August-May)

Classes are offered on a one to one basis, and also in group format.
Students generally study for instrumental exams at grade level (Preparatory to Grade 8).
The Music Centre facilitates the Associated Board syllabus but other exam bodies are allowed.
Students take music theory classes as part of their enrolment, also at grade exam level.

€400 for all students under the age of 21 in full time study. This includes half hour of small group or individual tuition and at least one hour of theory of music class per week depending on the level taken.

€800 for one hour of individual tuition plus theory class (for higher grade students only).

€200 for Pre-Instrumental, Music Theory or Leaving Certificate Music.

€100 for Ensemble class only.

Associated Board Exam fees are paid separately through the year.
Please pay careful attention to our strict closing dates for enrolment and exam fees.

Electronic Keyboards & Pianos

Please note the distinction between pianos and electronic keyboards.

We expect our piano students to have pianos and do not recommend learning piano on a keyboard (i.e. piano instruments powered by electricity).

We have a limited amount of classes available for students with keyboards.

It is important to specify exactly whether piano or keyboard lessons are being applied for.

This is to prevent any misunderstanding when the student is called for interview prior to the first lesson.

If you have any queries concerning the enrolment or tuition process, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions or alternatively contact:
