October Highlights: Performances, Workshops & Harp Day Celebrations

October will be a month full of music and celebration for our talented students and ensembles!

We begin by congratulating our String Ensemble on their beautiful performance at the Graduation Ceremony for Crumlin CFE last month. Their music added a special atmosphere to a meaningful day for all the graduates and guests.

Early Music Workshop with Laoise O'Brien

We’re also delighted to welcome Laoise O’Brien, who will facilitate an exciting Early Music Workshop for members of our Early Music Ensemble on Saturday, October 11th, 2025. Laoise’s expertise in historical performance promises to inspire and challenge our young musicians as they explore the sounds and styles of early music.

Harp Day

We’re proud to celebrate Lá na Cruite / Harp Day 2025, featuring Claire O’Donnell and the students of the Kylemore College Harp Department. This annual event, organised by Harp Ireland / Cruit Éireann, highlights Ireland’s rich harp tradition and showcases the incredible talent of our harpists.

Parents Association AGM

We invite all parents to attend our Parents Association Annual General Meeting on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at 9:15 a.m.

This is a great opportunity to hear updates, share ideas, and get involved in supporting our school community. We encourage all parents of our students to come along — your input and participation make a real difference!

Get ready for some spooky fun and musical magic this October!

Join us after the Parents Association AGM on Saturday morning, October 25th 2025, for our Halloween Celebrations — a morning filled with Halloween treats (no tricks!) and special performances from our talented ensembles.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the festivities — and don’t forget to dress up in your favourite fancy dress costume!

Whether you’re a ghost, a witch, or a superhero, we can’t wait to see your creative looks as we celebrate music, fun, and a touch of Halloween mischief.
